British menswear designer Christopher Shannon has unveiled his new technical fashion label, titled “North Quarter”.

Positioned as a modernist vision of premium sportswear, the line, launching for Autumn/Winter ’16, derives inspiration from Shannon’s catwalk collections in combining a subversive design with a selection of functional fabrics such as bonded cotton, neoprene and soft-shell textiles.

Multi-coloured camo patterns, pixelated graphics and a number of colour-blocked schemes are seen across such highlights as a button-down quilted windbreaker, a minimal hoodie with hi-shine panelling, and a jogging bottom with zip detailing.

Shannon commented: “North Quarter takes influences, design markers and key silhouettes from the Christopher Shannon mainline and repackages them for a detail-obsessed male customer brought up on a diet of premium technical sportswear brands.”

The North Quarter by Christopher Shannon Autumn/Winter ’16 Collection will be available later this year.
